Travels, Part One

>> Thursday, January 24, 2008

Last weekend, JP, my mom and I went to Valley of Fire, Nevada's first state park. The rock formations just go on forever and are a feast for the eyes. It is one of the only places I have ever been where I have heard true and utter silence -- no birds, no cars, no people. Just silence.

It is great. Especially this time of year when it is nice and cool.

You really do take some great pictures! That's funny, when I commented on your Southern Utah pictures, I didn't realize you were from Vegas. I just got back from Vegas but haven't done the blog yet. I have to finnish Parowan first.
